D'Lorah Althea Anderson

D'Lorah Butts-Lucas is a Florida licensed attorney specializing in corporate counsel for businesses and non-profits. Attorney Butts-Lucas is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Her legal experience includes work in private law firms, the Florida State Court System, and her own solo immigration law practice. Throughout her practice, Attorney Butts-Lucas has provided legal counsel for individuals, businesses and non-profits in over 25 states. Her professional experience includes business ownership, nonprofit management, supervision, human resources administration, and leadership roles in a private company, public school district, and private higher education institution.

Equipped for her calling in law and service, Attorney Butts-Lucas received her Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law (2003), Master’s degree in Practical Theology from Regent University (2014), and Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University in Human & Organizational Development (1999). After walking out this calling for over 17 years, Attorney Butts-Lucas has the knowledge, passion, and understanding needed to serve her clients.

In addition to practicing law, Attorney Butts-Lucas is a business owner and member of the Halifax Health Hospice Advisory Board, Volusia Young Professionals Group, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She has a heart to serve as evidenced by her global missions and ministry efforts on four continents. Part of which, includes having lead the re-opening of and serving as the Executive Director of Nyame Bekyere Christian School in Ghana, West Africa for five years. Attorney Butts-Lucas continues serving by helping others pursue their passion.
