I don't write reviews, until now. My lawyer Lillie Ashworth's performance as my Divorce lawyer was fantastic and she deserves a 5 star review as well as the people on her team. I am grateful for all of the help with my divorce from child custody to child support. The other side couldn't compete with... Lillie and I was able to get what I asked for. I am very appreciative and I would recommend Lillie and her team to anyone in need of divorce services. Divorce is not fun or easy, but dealing with Lillie Ashworth and her team made it much easier. Thank you Lillie and team!

I usually do not give the top star as a rule because there is room for growth for all. However, it is not about that. In life, for me it is not so much about what you do (which is important) but how you make people feel. I genuinely felt valued from Lillie. Lillie was kind, patient, efficient, thorou...gh, and down to earth. I appreciate how she stepped in (after an unpleasant experience with someone else) and took off handling our adoption. My husband and I are pleased and grateful for caring, good, professional people at Marshall and Taylor. Thanks to Andrea, Elisha, and Remington for all you have done as well. Lillie Ashworth is so amazing. No one ever really wants to need the services of a divorce attorney, however, when a friend recommended Lillie, I knew I was putting myself in the most capable hands immediately. She had the ability to balance what was incredibly personal and emotional to me with the p...rofessionalism and the knowledge of the court systems and the laws that we were getting ready to navigate. One of the hardest parts, I found in this process was how long the state of North Carolina makes it, and trying to get through this with the added obstacle of Covid. I know I would have never been able to do this without her keeping me calm and focused on the tasks at hand. Divorce is a business transaction at its core, but she was able to be very sensitive to my feelings while still guiding. She was very organized and kept me up to date on the work that she was doing behind the scenes on my case, I never felt like my case was not the most important thing on her desk, even though I know I was not the only client! She has the ability to look at my situation and not try and fit it into the same box as anyone else. She recognized that every case is different, and make me feel reassured. Lillie researched every aspect of my case and made me feel like she was searching for the solution to my particular problem and challenges. I would recommend her to anyone that is going through anything to do with family law. This is not an easy branch of the law, but she is able to do it with grace, compassion, knowledge and professionalism.
