Compassionate, articulate and thorough

Attorney Finney was compassionate, articulate and thorough in our initial consultation about my potential divorce. He took the time to answer all my questions and explained the process step-by-step. If I need to use an attorney I will definitely be using him.

My Atty Josh helped me get through what started out as a very scary moment in my Life. After being married for 12 years my other half wanted out. A friend recommended Josh, and although my fight was for fair custody of the children. He fought not only for that but for what was rightly mine as far as... everything goes. He made it less scary and stressful than I thought it would be .

Billable hour$ - 3 law firms in 2 years says a lot

When I met Attorney Finney, he was attentive and took a lot of notes and assured me I was entitled to spousal support and alimony. I came in prepared with all the paperwork/ proof of everything that I had found out about my ex and their activities. I explained in detail to Attorney Finney the unbelie...vable ordeal I had been through prior to our meeting. After the initial consultation (fee), papers are signed, and I paid (fee) for Finney to represent me. Two weeks after paying thousands of dollars to retain Finney, paperwork filed downtown. I got a call Finney was leaving this firm, huh, what. The paperwork has been submitted. WHEN YOU ARE GOING THROUGH A DIVORCE YOU DON’T WANT YOUR ATTORNEY MOVING OFFICES, WHY because it costs YOU to REFILE the same paperwork. I do not know if all 28 clients came with him to the new firm, but I do know. That is a lot of work without a paralegal. Finney needs more knowledge on handling divorce cases, but divorces pay better. There has no happy ending, Finney refused to work on my case but got thousands of dollars out of me and didn't have to say much. I truly feel this was about money.

Stay Away

I hired Mr. Finney after he gave me false promises. He made a lot of mistakes which he did not take responsibility for. He created problems, charged me for creating and solving them. He was very unresponsive, incompetent, and charged me ridiculous fees for it. He dumped me in the middle of divorce af...ter he put me in a lot of legal problems. Hire a lawyer who is interested in protecting your rights and representing you.
