George V. Laughrun II

I have hired Mr. Laughrun to represent me for well over decade and he has always done an excellent job. I am 33 years old now and I don't care if I were to get a ticket for littering I would hire him without a second thought. He is always very professional and down to business. He is also very unders...tanding when it comes to financial obligations and will work with you on the payment(s). I often run into him out in public and he always knows my name and says hello. He even asks how my grandfather is doing! So while he may be all business he also has a great memory of his clients. There are other great lawyers in the Charlotte area but I believe they all look up to George. Get a ticket? Get arrested? Make a mistake? Go see George and let him take the wheel. I have used George's legal services several times in the last 10 years. He is always polite and professional. He returns phone calls in person, the same day guarantied! I was a pet sitter and a small business owner. I had a lady that is a dog trainer and goomer at Petco-a competitor. She filed charges against me-saying that I had harrassed and threatened her and her child-NOT TRUE_ I challenged her 'double dipping' on my references that I sent to Petco'. Sh...e and her manager went wild. I believed in the fact that I was not quilty- the police in Huntersville, NC filed out the paperwork against my better good. My attorney, Mr Laughrun stood by me, was very considerate, kind and believed in my case. He did the right thing and got the case dismissed. I totally reccommend him and his great work. George Laughrun humiliated my son in court., He did not know the case, what was in the discovery, knew statements were with held that could have helped. Did not investigate the case . Lead my son to the dogs. Let the media keep going on and on. Did not protect in any way, professionally or responsibl...y. Judge made a ruling and Laughrun went up to the bench and made the judge add to his own clients sentence. What an idiot lawyer when it comes to complicated matters. He did not work on the case at all. Always a clean desk. Never a file on his desk to discuss. always argued with us. Took his client to talk to the ADA, ALE, and State Hwy Patrol, knowing he had a traumatic brain injury, and could not comprehend what was being asked. Did not remember the meeting at all. I will never forget how this man treated the family, and humiliated his supposed client at the bench trial, and even agreed with the victims families. And also used this to help the ADA. All I have to say now is stay away from this lawyer if you don't want to be humiliated and not protected. Also, Made a speech : Your honor I can not tell you how many I have arrested, sent to prison, etc. in court.
