I retained this law firm over a year ago and paid them $5,500 to represent me. Since accepting my payment, they have failed to perform the services they were hired to provide and have made no meaningful progress on my matter. Over the past year I have made more than 20 phone calls to their office ...requesting updates. Each time I was promised a return call, yet no one ever followed through. I have also sent multiple emails requesting information about my case and formally demanding either action or a refund. These communications have largely gone unanswered. Collecting a substantial retainer and then failing to perform services, failing to communicate with a client, and ignoring repeated requests for updates is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about professional responsibility. Because of the firm’s failure to provide services or return my funds, I will be filing formal complaints with the North Carolina State Bar and the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office. I will also be pursuing all available options to recover the $5,500 that was paid for services that were never performed. Anyone considering hiring this firm should proceed with extreme caution and carefully review the negative feedback from other clients, as many appear to report similar issues with communication and lack of progress.

I have had Attorney Crews for 6 Months now just fired her today. We haven’t gotten any progress in my Chid support case . I ended up having to pay the opposing party legal fees how crazy is that. Her response time is the worse I have ever seen, takes her days to respond to emails and phone calls. If ...you have a serious matter and considering her good luck. The other Attorney eat her alive in a hearing Attorneys Crews said nothing just sat there looking confused. I regret ever hiring Her.

This attorney has been unreachable at times up to 9 days in one instance. Calls , emails are responded in a timely manner. Lacks a total sense of urgency. Doesn't display the professionalism and pride of being an attorney. Superfluous, when regarding the factual allrgations presented to her. Keeps me... waiting up to 25 mins for a scheduled meeting, a total disregard and disrespect for my time. This attorney would never qualify to be a servicemember in the JAG Corps, who practice and maintain high standards. This was a COSTLY lesson to learn.

Shawntae Crews, will do the absolute bare minimum and have little to no contact with you about anything. I have gave here thousands of dollars for her to get my truck back from an old friend that stole it. I have the keys, original title proof of payment everything and the woman that stole it didn...’t even show up at court yet. I still do not have my truck back. (8 months) I keep calling asking for documentation of my court case and next steps to get my truck back. She wrote me a letter stating she’s going to discontinue her services on my case and still, Has provided me with no documentation of anything. Now I have to take off work to deal with this. Do not waste your time find a different lawyer for whatever you’re doing.
