Being that I had never had any time of criminal charges before I was terrified of what would ultimately happen to me with 2 felony fraud charges that were pending against me. She wanted every detail of what happened and she listened intensively. Stopping me to ask questions and gain clarity as sh...e took notes, Selin was patient and non judgmental of anything I had to say or ask her. She explained to me what the possibilities were of my case, and made sure she couldn't make any promises; all the while, assuring me that I would be okay and she was going to " hold my hand through out this entire process." Selin was always present with me and showed up every single time. Except for the one time she sent someone else from the firm - but she informed me way ahead of time that she would be in the courthouse at the same time - but handling a different case on a different floor. So, I was still prepared for this little hiccup. I understood that I wasn't her only client and that she was in the courthouse if I truly needed her. As I went through the process, frequently I was asked " Why do they have you going through this, couldn't you just …etc" but to one official court personnel - I actually took the time to explain that " I didn't know I could do that, I just hired a lawyer and she presented me with options, and of the options she presented this was the best one…etc. This particular person asked me "well, who is your attorney?" I said "Selin Roberts." She said "OH!!! Well if she is your attorney, let me tell you - you have the best!" I just smiled. It was yet another assurance that I knew I made the right decision when I selected her as my attorney. I trusted her to do her job - and she did just that!!! And her performance was simply outstanding! Oh, and did I mention - on the last court date I just so happened to mention a civil matter to her (mind you - she is a criminal defense attorney and doesn't handle small matters such as what I mentioned to her) - and she took care of that too - as a courtesy to me! I'm not sure if attorneys read these; however, Selin - if you are reading this. From the deepest part of me - Thank You. You have been above par and have handled my business with supremacy. I pray that we never have to meet for any other reason than for pleasure-ever again! BUT - if we do. Rest assured - I will find you. :)

When I met Selin, I was nervous about my upcoming case. I immediately felt at ease because of her warm and friendly disposition. She not only asked me details about the situation, but she also asked me about my personal life, education, family, and other details that I never would expect an attorney ...to ask, especially in my case. Then, she explained in detail the possible outcomes, and her plans to mitigate the final outcome. When the hearing came, Selin took me aside, told me to relax and not worry.
