Eric Steven Meredith

Please do not hire this attorney, or anyone else in his firm. He rarely returns calls, is always unprepared for court, only consults with us the night before court dates, and is extremely arrogant inside and outside of the courtroom, which pissed off the judge. Fired him after he walked out of a he...aring, leaving his junior attorney to fight my case which he lost. Terrible lawyer, do not hire him.

It all started off great but, I feel he may be better in the courtroom then anything else. Eric is a bit lazy on doing work/ research ( maybe to many clients and personal issues keeping him busy) he had me believing things that I soon realized were not at all what they seemed and lost me what could h...ave been the easiest case in the world. Eric did t stick up for me or protect me at all in the courtroom and in the end made me feel awful, alone and as always anything but confident. I now need to spend more money and time to get another lawyer to undo the mess he has made. Be careful looks like in the last 2 years, Eric is dropping the ball and not doing what he gets paid to do. We could have won but I still would say he is lazy, hard to get a hold of and will not keep you updated or let you know what is going on. There was absolutely no advice or time given to me unless it was the day to be infront of a judge.

Eric is a good attorney when you have his attention. I went to court and he was not prepared. Getting ahold of him on the phone, or by email, can be quite challenging. I have paid tens of thousands of dollars and not much is being accomplished. Once the divorce was finalized it seems like he forg...ot about me. There are more things that need to be taken care of; but, no response. I feel that he can be an amazing lawyer which is why I gave two stars. I think he can be money hungry and take on too many clients. Be careful.

I came to Mr Meredith devastated beyond belief because my son reported he was being hurt by his father. Mr Meredith provided a great deal of lip service at first and took $14,000. I went over 3 months with no return call or email from him and finally changed attorneys. I hired another attorney an...d spend almost 6 figures undoing some of Mr Meredith's damages. My second attorney stated Mr Meredith made some mistakes but would not go on the record.. My son ended up in the hospital and diagnosed with a PTSD and is still in treatment 4 years later due to the abuse from his father and the way Mr Meredith misrepresented me and my son.
