I had zero experience w/legal issues prior to this one (not even a traffic violation), so I didn't know what to expect (heck, I didn't even know where the courthouse was). So I needed an attorney to guide me through the process. Unfortunately I spent a small fortune on a previous lawyer (using the te...rm very loosely).
