Donna B. Stepp

I would not recommend Donna. It just never felt like she was advocating for me. It's not that she doesn't know the law, she does, I just don't think she understands people, especially people going through a divorce. On more than one occasion she gave me ultimatums and threatened to leave my case if ...I just didn't do what she said. And I suppose getting a new lawyer was always an option, but when you have invested time and money into a divorce lawyer who knows your case during what is already an emotional time it is simply not an option to start over, so I simply gave up. In the end, it felt like she wasn't on my side. When you're going through a bad divorce you want to feel like the person you've hired actually wants you to win - for me it just never felt that way. She just made an already difficult situation that much worse. For these reasons, I would not recommend Donna as legal council for a divorce.
