I am here to help you if you have been injured on the job, been in an accident that was caused by someone who was negligent, if you are the victim of a crime, or if you have been treated unlawfully in the workplace. I have handled cases at every level of the state and federal courts in North Carolina. Our law firm believes in communication. It is our policy to keep you informed about what is happening in your case at every step.
Outside of my work, you can find me involved in Hillsborough Rotary Club activities! I love Rotary because it's an organization committed to bringing everyone together for the common good, here in North Carolina and around the world. I am also involved in my church, St. Philips Episcopal of Durham. I represent working people because of my past experience having to support myself as an auto parts worker, house cleaner and waitress.
Attorneys Leto Copeley and Valerie Johnson (aka the “Law Sisters“) even have a podcast about Sexual Harassment in the workplace. Learn ways you can protect yourself from Sexual Harassment by listening to their podcast series, Sex at Work, available on the Law Sisters website, Apple Podcasts, Google Play, TuneIn, and Stitcher.

Leto Copeley and her assistant are AWESOME! My emails are always answered very quickly and I get a direct answer to every question I have. I am treated like a human being and not just another case for this firm.

The law firm of Copeley, Johnson & Groninger is very supportive of their clients. Attorney Copeley’s paralegal Kathy Bobbitt is always available with a calming presence. As a client, they supported me and took a personal interest in my case in order to receive justice. I would highly recommend them. ...

Leto was highly recommended to me for a personal injury case. She is killer good and tough as nails. At every step of the process she kept me involved and informed. I felt very well prepared for the deposition and mediation. It was fascinating to witness her achieve an excellent settlement for me...
"I highly recommend Leto Copely for any wrongful termination issue, as well as personal injury and workers compensation cases. Leto is very knowledgeable and experienced and is a terrific litigator."
