Bungled My Case Completely

Where to begin? I suppose with the fact that in all of my years this was the most bungling and incompetent/professionally negligent law firm I have ever used. I was in an automobile accident nearly four months ago I and I retained Riddle to represent me. From the start communication was slow to then ...non-existent. I never got the chance to even speak with the attorney from the firm representing me. Apparently they utilized two case managers. The second one at least I believe started looking at the case. Nearly four months later I get a call from the receptionist at my doctor's office. The message? Riddle is no longer representing me. Why do I have to get a call from my doctor's receptionist? Why are they privileged to know that to begin with? It's not just unprofessional but it's a colossal violation of my own privacy. Yesterday I received a letter notifying me of it with a sloppily hand scrawled addressed envelope. I am not kidding. I probably will be filing a complaint with the NC Bar on this. It's uncalled for and one other attorney I spoke with said she had no words for it all. They basically appeared to have sat on my case for months and never notified the insurance company of the driver who hit me so that company closed the case. Again Riddle never ever informed me. Maybe I should have called my doctor's receptionist or better yet let them handle my case? Bungling is too kind of a word for this. It's an outrage. Now critical deadlines have passed and I have no attorney and no settlement at all. In the end you CANNOT count on this firm to fight for you. They will not be there for you in the end.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals.
