Biography
I founded the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, and serveas its President.
I received my Juris Doctor, with honors, from Duke University School of Law. Ireceived my Bachelor of Arts, Phi Beta Kappa, in Philosophy from Trinity Collegein Hartford, Connecticut. While my legal work has earned mea membership into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum*, my passion is usingbusiness principles to try to provide the highest quality legal servicespossible for the firm’s clients.
Our greatest satisfaction comes from making a difference in the lives of ourclients. Doing quality legal work isessential, but I truly believe that running an organized, quality organizationallows us to fulfill our mission by serving clients better.
I am a member of the American Association for Justice’s Leaders Forum, thePresident’s Club of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, and The NorthCarolina Bar Association. I serve on the Advisory Board for MothersAgainst Drunk Driving (MADD)’s North Carolina chapter, which the firm proudly supports. Ialso contribute to and serve on the Lawyer’s Image and Marketing Committee of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.
