Donald R. Strickland

With over 35 years of experience, Don Strickland has helped hundreds of clients throughout North Carolina recover fair and just compensation for their injuries, the loss of loved ones, and financial losses to their businesses. Don Strickland currently practices law at The Law Office of Donald R Strickland. Prior to opening his current practice Don practiced with Twiggs Strickland & Rabenau, P.A. where he was a shareholder and the president. Since 1984 Don has successfully represented clients in serious personal injury and wrongful death cases in the state and federal courts of North Carolina and has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts. He has also successfully litigated business tort cases in the state and federal courts in North Carolina and South Carolina, federal courts in Florida and Maryland, and state court in Arizona.
Don obtained substantial verdicts and settlements against corporate defendants including Honda, Southeastern Toyota, Snap-on Tools Corporation, South Carolina National Bank, and Champion Products, Inc. Don has served on the Plaintiffs' Executive Committees in federal multi-district litigation, representing both individual and class action plaintiffs in business tort cases. Don had been a frequent speaker and writer for continuing legal education seminars in the area of litigation. His primary focus with The Law Office of Donald R Strickland is serious personal injury and wrongful death cases arising out of tractor trailer and other motor vehicle collisions. Don is also a North Carolina certified Superior Court mediator.

Don is also a fellow of the International Society of Barristers, and the American Board of Trial Advocacy, two other prominent invitation-only legal organizations. Don has also served on the Board of Governors of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.
