Caroline's family law practice is founded on her strong educational background and her commitment to helping others. A Greensboro, NC native, Caroline graduated summa cum laude from North Carolina A&T State University in 2019 with a BA in Political Science, where she was first inspired to pursue law. Caroline went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Campbell Law in May 2022, graduating in the top third of her class. During her time at Campbell Law, she gained invaluable experience interning with the North Carolina Equal Access to Justice Commission (Raleigh, NC) and Mewborn & Deselms (Jacksonville, NC), while also holding leadership roles such as President of the Student Bar Association and Vice President of the Campbell Public Interest Law Student Association. Her involvement extended internationally as she competed in the 29th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. During her final year at Campbell Law, Caroline developed her passion for family law through her participation as an intern and student of the inaugural class of the Gailor Family Law Litigation Clinic, where she gained hands-on experience assisting low-income clients in Wake County with various domestic law matters.
Caroline was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in September 2022 and began her legal practice specializing in family law at Marshall & Taylor, PLLC. In November 2023, she joined Sandlin Family Law Group, where she represents clients in a broad range of domestic issues, including child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, domestic violence, and other related matters. Caroline is dedicated to guiding her clients through the difficult and often emotional issues that can arise in family law cases, explaining all available options and providing tailored advice to best achieve each client's goals--whether through litigating the case in court, mediating or other alternative dispute resolution methods, or drafting and negotiating a contractual agreement to resolve the case. In addition to representing clients at the trial level, Caroline's practice also includes handling family law appeals.
Caroline is actively involved in the legal community through the Wake County Bar Association, where she serves on a Young Lawyers Division Committee and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, yoga, and spending quality time with her daughter and dog, Sam.
