I was afraid to file bankruptcy because my creditor said they would sue me if I did. I was terrified because it seemed this one particular creditor made it personal and would call me at my work, my home and then started calling my family. I had no choice but to call for help. I called Mr. Orcutt's of...fice and they treated me with much respect and calmed my nerves down. They told me the creditor would stop calling me after I filed and if they called again they would be in trouble for having done so. I could sleep soundly again and wake up with a smile on my face instead of dread. Mr. Davis was very sweet to me at the hearing and walked me through everything with kid gloves. I am greatly to have hired Mr. Orcutt's firm.

After the previous review I posted on this website regarding lack of service with this Lawyer's customer service area, I was contacted by one of John Orcutt's Lawyers who was very concerned with my negative experience with the firm. He researched my case and was able to provide me with all the necce...ssary information I needed. He actually provided me with his personal phone number in case I have any future questions or concerns. This Lawyer was polite, informative and very patient with me. My faith with the company has been restored. Since I am not able to remove my previous comment, I feel compelled to update my review with a more positive experience.

The initial process with John Orcutt's office was fairly simple. They were more than happy to get us on payroll deductions to handle our filing. However, once our case had been processed, the support completely stopped. We can't get support reps to answer questions, return calls/emails, or identify w...here the initial payments (over $7k paid by check while establishing payroll deductions) have gone. It hasn't been credited to our account in the 2 1/2 years that we have been involved in this process. We have only received one statement regarding our account the entire time. Getting any information from this law office is incredibly frustrating. We filed Chapter 13, due to medical bills that we accrued when our son had to be hospitalized in Critical Care for almost 10 months. After he died, the bills continued to mount. We turned to John Orcutt's office, and were relieved when the process was underway. We thought that it would be a new beginning for us, but our relief was shortlived. If you are in a position where filing for Chapter 13 or 7 is your only option, I hope that you will consider finding an attorney who can provide support both before and after you file. You won't find that with this attorney.
