To say I was disappointed is an understatement. It’s not that she’s not a good lawyer but she clearly didn’t have the time for me. Her office didn’t either. It gave me a kickstart but that’s about it, but I wish I had gone with a different lawyer from the get go. I didn’t feel stood up for. I felt li...ke I was my own lawyer and she was the title. She copy pasted what I wrote, did not advise, and then tweaked it very very little, no wonder the other lawyer was walking all over it. The one time she did tweak and did not agree it took over three emails to understand where she was coming from, and what she was actually advising, costing me more loss of time and money. On top of that, I did not understand the process of my custody situation nor was I told about a custody orientation date or requirement, so apparently I missed it, which I only found out from the new lawyer I hired. Her front office staff was not helpful at all, nor were her paralegals, and her availability was about weekly via emails with long awaited response time about 75% of the time. She stated she had 48 hours to legally respond, but I waited well over that. She did state she was being mindful of costs. If that was the case, she would have advised better from the beginning and in a clear email. How I went thru so much cash when I wrote all of the order with very little tweaking, no advising, and very little time talking is beyond me.
