Informed, sensible and fair.
Leslie is knowledgeable, conscientious, and very attentive to the needs of her clients. She handled a separation agreement for me, and was very sensible, balanced and fair. I would happily recommend her to anyone.
"I am impressed with Ms. Amos's thoughtful advice and answers to legal questions on Avvo. She has an in-depth understanding of the law and an ability to communicate legal concepts clearly and effectively. I endorse this lawyer!"
"I have had the fortune to know Leslie not only as another family lawyer in our community and a graduate from my law school, but also as opposing counsel. Although we may technically be professional competitors (both in court and in business), our association is one of mutual respect, admiration, and support. As opposing counsel I have found her to be fair, honest, straight forward and reasonable while also staunchly advocating for her client. I appreciate being able to work across from a colleague who is able to balance the need and ability to effectively serve our respective clients with a willingness to find workable, solutions for both parties in a domestic dispute. She displays a deep compassion for and understanding of her clients and the emotionally challenging aspects of family law matters."
"While I don't know Ms. Amos personally, I do see her on Avvo and read her answers. What really caught my eye is one in particular and it was both the legal analysis and more than that, a common sense approach so often missing by attorneys that really made a difference. I've taken a look at her website and read the endorsements by other attorneys, one of which was from her husband. He's attorney as well. While one would expect him to say only good things about her, and he did, it was the way he said it that tells me as a team they work well together. I endorse Leslie Amos as an attorney."
"Ms. Amos is a thoughtful and dedicated attorney, and a passionate advocate for each and every one of her clients. She prepares better for her cases, and understands the law better, than almost any other family law attorney I know. She is deeply compassionate for her clients, and treats each case as a unique opportunity to help with the most important issues in a person's life. I completely trust Ms. Amos and heartily endorse her as an excellent family law attorney."
"I endorse this lawyer. Her contributions to AVVO demonstrate her great knowledge and skill as an attorney."
"I have personal knowledge of Mrs. Amos' legal knowledge and skills as I am not only married to her, but work with her side-by-side every day. She put herself through law school while working full-time and graduated with High Honors (Magna Cum Laude) even after getting married (to me) and having her first child while still attending law school. She has drive and determination to succeed and puts those attributes to work for her clients. She is very personable and takes the time necessary, with each and every client, to hear not only the pertinent facts but the entire story. Right out of law school she took cases that put her up against divorce attorneys with years of experience and not only held her own, but got great results for her clients. She provides excellent counsel and representation to each and every client, so I do not hesitate to recommend her."
