Biography

A native of Siler City, Michael graduated Magna Cum Laude from North Carolina State University. After college, he worked in the field of higher education law as a policy analyst and went on to attend the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University. While at Campbell, he was member of the Campbell Law Review, the Student Bar Association, and was the President of the International Law Society. He received several accolades including the Calhoun Award for Outstanding Performance in Trial and Appellate Advocacy and the Richard A. Lord and Henry A. London scholarships.
Michael is admitted to practice in all state courts of North Carolina and United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. He is a member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, County Academy of Criminal Trial Lawyers and the National College for DUI Defense. He has successfully completed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety training. He has been recognized as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by The National Trial Lawyers

Excellent Service
As soon as I hired him, he started working on my case immediately. I missed my court date "failure to appear" and he handle it fast and I didn't have to pay court fees plus he got it reduced to "no operators license". Also, he got me a "prayer for judgement" so this offense won't be enter against me....
