Biography
Emily Gladden is an accomplished criminal defense attorney. She represents individuals facing criminal charges in state and federal courts. She handles a diverse range of criminal cases from serious felony matters to complex white-collar investigations. On a limited basis, Emily represents clients in post-conviction and appellate proceedings, as well as parole hearings. She is committed to the protection of an individual’s rights at every stage of the criminal process.
Emily has a reputation for thorough preparation, persuasive courtroom advocacy, and deep compassion for her clients and their families. She has won trials in state and federal court and has negotiated favorable plea resolutions and dismissals in challenging cases.
Before joining Tin Fulton Walker & Owen in 2015, Emily worked as a staff attorney at The Bronx Defenders in New York City. There, she managed a caseload of nearly 100 clients and was in court every day, fighting for their constitutional rights and basic human dignity.
Emily earned her law degree from UC Berkeley Law School, where she received awards for academics and advocacy. Before law school, she completed a Master's Degree in Criminology at the University of Cambridge in England as a Gates Scholar. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude, from Williams College in Massachusetts.
