Edd K. Roberts III

Ed Roberts and his assistant Elizabeth were terrific to work with. Enough cannot be said about hiring a lawyer that has been in Raleigh / Wake County his entire career. Ed has a great reputation & is well respected by his peers. It is a definite asset to know the judges & district attorneys and how ...the Wake County court system works. My issue was something I probably could have handled on my own but there is no doubt in my mind that I came out better hiring Ed. I would not have been able to present my case nearly as effectively as Ed did. In court, it was obvious that he knew the judge & D.A and that he commanded their respect. By myself court would have been a little intimidating. I felt very confident having Ed Roberts represent me. I would definitely hire Ed Roberts again, although I hope I never need to.

I felt compelled to shout out about my experience with Edd Roberts and his staff over the past four years. Yes, 4 years! I have been treated with respect, trust and professionalism by every person in Edd’s firm. We took my case to a jury trial for DWI. I watched Edd work up close for 3 days, Thi...s man knows what he is doing. Edd was beyond prepared to defend me after 4 years passed.. The judge dismissed my case just before the jurors were to start deliberating on my case. #1 Fan!!!

I have never been into any situations like this before, It was a foggy morning and it was dark outside and I was driving to work, and couldn't see much on road because of fog and suddenly I realized that there is a stopped school bus and a person on road and tried to avoid hitting the person but in s...pite of all the efforts my car got in contact with the pedestrian, everything happened in few seconds and l got out of car and made sure that the kid was OK, fortunately kid was fine without any obvious injuries and I got traffic citation for that and we met Mr. Roberts and after talking to him we understood he has realistic goals and we hired him. hiring him is the best decision we took. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy, he gave me instructions about what to do in preparation for court, took time to get all the things and paperwork lined up. After we have as much information we could obtain, he proceeded and I totally trusted in his judgement, he talked to DA and based on the circumstances it happened he had the running the stopped school bus violation dropped and I had to pay minimal fine for hitting the pedestrian. I am very happy with the outcome. I strongly recommend him for any one.

There is no other attorney that I would ever contact before calling Edd. When initially meeting with Edd - it couldn't have been any quicker When he explained all avenues, options and possiblities - it couldn't have been more clear. When I called and spoke to his staff - they couldn't have been mo...re polite. When I requested communication - it couldn't have been returned more promptly. He took me through every step of each process in a way that I felt comfortable and at ease. At the end of it all, he delivered the results that helped me - not only save my career - but, put all of it behind me for good. Moving forward, I've had friends ask me about similar circumstances. I've referred them to Edd and they've had the same results. I trust Edd so much that, when I have anyone that talks to me about legal issues, I refer them to him. Even if it isn't something that he deals with, I trust that he will point them in the right - and BEST - direction. I don't typically refer one person/company to others. I usually refer 2-4 companies that I have dealt with, and tell people to "pick the best that works for them". When it comes to any matter involving the law, he is the only one I go to.
