Drew H. R. Brown

Drew Brown founded this law firm in 2006.  He believes strongly that his first and foremost role as attorney is to advocate for his clients. At age 39, he is already an experienced trial lawyer who has appeared on behalf of clients in contested hearings in over 50 different courthouses throughout the Carolinas. In an era where cases often settle before litigation or at mediation, Drew Brown has repeatedly taken personal injury and business disputes to trial.  

Because of his significant trial experience, Brown is regularly hired by other attorneys as a consultant for their own jury trials.  Brown has already handled hundreds of civil matters for a diverse range of matters from Murphy to Manteo to Myrtle Beach ranging from business litigation, personal injury and property disputes to family law matters such as divorce and custody. His clients have spanned from well known entities like Verizon Wireless, SunTrust Bank, and the Atlantic Coast Conference to regular citizens throughout the Carolinas who have been injured by the negligence of others.  

His trial skills have also been recognized by his peers.  Business North Carolina magazine sends a fill in the blank “Legal Elite” ballot annually to each of the over 20,000 members of the North Carolina State Bar.  Brown is the youngest attorney to be voted into the “Litigation” category of “Legal Elite” each of the last five years.  The National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys has named him one of the top 10 Personal Injury Attorneys under 40 in North Carolina.

Prior to forming this law firm in 2006, Brown worked for Smith Moore Leatherwood and Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton, two of the largest and oldest law firms in the Carolinas.  His experience on both sides of the aisle make him the ideal choice as the strong advocate you need to represent your interests.  He was an Eagle Scout, Valedictorian of his high school class, and graduated with honors from Wake Forest University and then Duke University School of Law.  He is active in the North and South Carolina Advocates for Justice and the American Advocates for Justice.  He is licensed to practice in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Missouri.
