Robert A. Lauver

Attorney Robert A Lauver has represented me in two separate cases in the past. The first case was a lower back injury with the bottom 3 discs in my spine being ruptured . After being released by the companies doctor with a 5 % disability rating , Mr Lauver made sure that I got the second opinion tha...t I was entitled too with a highly acclaimed spine surgeon .I underwent a three level spinal fusion surgery that eliminated 85 % of my symptoms. Without Mr. Lauver's persistence to get a second opinion , I would have never had that opportunity. In the second case , I had an on-the-job automobile accident that resulted in my left hip being shattered into 6 pieces , a left knee injury , a head injury and an aggravation of the prior spinal fusion . Eight months after the accident , way before being released by my doctor's and while still on crutches , the company tried to force me to return to work . Mr. Lauver made sure that my doctors were made aware of the situation and my doctors in turn refused to allow me to return to work doing "unsuitable" jobs . Later in the case, the company tried to deny any responsibility for a lower back injury so Mr Lauver requested a hearing with the Industrial Committee and proved that the company WAS responsible for the aggravation of my prior spinal fusion . In both cases , Mr Lauver has always been respectful , courteous and very caring making absolutely certain I received the medical care I deserved and needed first and foremost . Mr Lauver truly cares about his clients well being. He is also very knowledgeable in regards to the workers compensation laws of NC and always stands his ground when defending his clients. Mr Lauver has always been a pleasure to work with and if I ever need a workers comp lawyer again ,, HE is the only one I would call !!
