WORST ATTORNEY EVER!

This guy sits and speaks softly, convinces you it’ll take x amount of dollars to pursue the defendant and then he does NOTHING after getting paid. 8 months go by with me begging for an update to my file to which he’d respond “ “As promised, I provide updates when something relevant unfolds.” This l...awsuit involved my daughter. My daughter dies. He emails to tell me I need new counsel because he’s taken a job in DA’s office of Alamance county. I get all the paperwork in the file... Kevin Harrison never lifted a finger to help me. He filed the lawsuit and that was it. Wait, the next thing he did was file to be withdrawn as council 8 months later. Disgusting.

Does not listen and does not tell you everything!!

My family hired Kevin Harrison to pursue a lawsuit regarding a personal injury that involved 3 parties. We were only interested in pursuing something with 2 of those parties and allowing the criminal court to deal with the 3rd. Kevin however convinced our family to take a settlement from the 3rd in... which we had to sign a settlement agreement. He never explained to us that by us signing that statement, it did not release the other 2 parties and therefore pursuing a case against them would prove to be very difficult. After the agreement was signed, he left the practice he was with and at that time we found that he never even began to work on a case against the 2 parties that we originally asked him to. We contacted multiple attorneys after he left and no attorney would take our case because of the settlement agreement that had been signed. I hired him because I needed someone to help my family and trusted that he would do right by us and our wishes. What he did was take the quick money and ultimately hurt our chances of holding the other 2 parties accountable. I asked him multiple times if signing the settlement agreement would keep us from pursuing a case against the other 2 parties. (The only parties we asked him to deal with to begin with). He said no each time. I feel like he was fully aware of everything and was only looking for the quick check and not our long term needs. Now that he is an ADA, I know you can't "hire" him but in case he goes back to a firm, I would not hire him if I were you. He did not listen, his communication with us was horrible with me going weeks without getting any responses from him and he just left us hanging after almost 2 years of dealing with a very difficult issue for us to start all over. His inability to either explain to us what we were really signing or his or lack of knowledge in the law hurt my family dearly.

Helpful and sent me on my way

Atty Harrison was a excellent listener and was able to desect the specific areas of need. He laid out areas of strength and areas that could be difficult to process. After spending over an hour sharing his legal knowledge regarding my concerns, he provided me with a referral with specific expertis...e regarding my immediate legal need. I appreciated him knowing his strengths and not just taking a case for the money. I highly recommend, Atty. Harrison, without reservation.
