I am a native of Davidson, NC, and have been practicing law in Winston-Salem since 2007. I worked in private practice and in the public sector before my husband and I teamed up to open Beechler Tomberlin, PLLC, in 2016. I focus my practice on education (K-12 and higher education), business, and employment law matters.  I am particularly interested in cases involving childern and adults with special needs, since prior to entering law school I worked as an ABA therapist for childern with autism.  I have served one of the largest school districts in North Carolina (53,000 students) as General Counsel, and I have worked with very small private schools - it is all work that I enjoy.  When I'm not in the office you will find me at Wake Forest University School of Law, where I am an adjunct professor, or at home relaxing with my family.

Adoption
My husband and myself would not officially have our son if it's wasn't for Allison and her team. They were very upfront and honest with us during the entire process. Adoption is a very scary process and they offered a since of comfort during the entire process. She is very knowledgeable about the steps needed to be taken to finalize an adoption. No matter the day if I had a question it was always answered in a timely manner. We always felt like we were the most important case they were working on at all times. If my husband and I ever decide to adopt another child we will never hesitate to call Allison first!

Very helpful, organized, and efficient
Ali helped me and my husband with a landlord tenant/landlord issue. She was extremely organized and efficient with contacting the opposing party and their attorney. She kept us in the loop on every development in the case which reduced our worries about the case immensely. We would definitely recommend Ali to anyone looking for professional and well-organized legal care.

Education law expert
Allison took immediate action to assist my son with a school law matter. Not only was she thorough in her explanation of his legal rights and likely case outcomes, her years of experience with schools in the Triad, enabled her to provide practical advice about how my son's particular school would respond. Allison's assistance lead to a successful outcome for my son.

Fantastic, Caring Attorney
Without Ms. Tomberlin's expertise, my roommates and I would still be paying rent to a landlord who didn't care that his house was falling apart with tenants living inside of it. Ms. Tomberlin provided us with the help we needed in a timely and professional manner. She was very kind to us and actually cared about us; so much so that she personally checked up on us and our housing situation until everything was fixed. She is not only an excellent attorney, but a caring woman as well. I would highly recommend her to anyone that need's a professionals help.
