Fantastic, Caring Attorney

Without Ms. Tomberlin's expertise, my roommates and I would still be paying rent to a landlord who didn't care that his house was falling apart with tenants living inside of it. Ms. Tomberlin provided us with the help we needed in a timely and professional manner. She was very kind to us and actua...lly cared about us; so much so that she personally checked up on us and our housing situation until everything was fixed. She is not only an excellent attorney, but a caring woman as well. I would highly recommend her to anyone that need's a professionals help.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"Ali Tomberlin is one of the leading North Carolina authorities on Education Law. She is a seasoned litigator in Family Law and Employment Law. Ali's tenure as General Counsel for the Winston-Salem / Forsyth County Board of Education allowed her to manage litigation and as well as provide training and education to school personnel. Ali is frequently invited to speak in North Carolina and other states on education law and legal ethics. We often collaborate on cases that require civil and criminal representation. She is an extraordinarily multi-talented attorney, and her clients and colleagues absolutely love working with her."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
