I retained Hartsoe
I retained Hartsoe for a child support modification case. Hartsoe was largely non-responsive to me throughout the proceedings, so I worked mostly with his paralegal, Lisa There was no favorable outcome to my case which went on for the better part of a year. While Hartsoe was rarely available, his ...

Non-responsive and inconsistent communications
I retained Tony Hartsoe to help me with my injuries and dealing with the insurance company after I had a car accident. If it were not for his staff I would not have had any updates. When I have needed to talk to Tony and left him messages, he has never returned a phone call or email to me. Like I ...
I am sorry to see this review. We do use staff to communicate with clients on the day-to-day of any given case as that is an efficient use of our staff and the attorney's limited time, which is largely spent in court or getting ready for court, which is their role in the case. I am happy to see that apparently there were regular updates to this client (we have honestly not been informed of any of our personal injury clients that have hired another attorney at this time), and would have liked to have had an opportunity to speak with this person directly to try and resolve any unmet expectations. It is often the case that such cases can take much longer than they client would like due to the court system, delays in receiving information, and the very nature of litigation, none of which we can control. I hope this client will let us know that they have retained other counsel very soon, and wish them well. 11/1/17 Update: We can find no auto injury client that has discontinued our representation since this was written, so we are skeptical that the review is real.

Making it easy
I found Hartsoe online and scheduled an appointment at their online portal for separation documents and divorce. The process was easy and efficient from the beginning to the end. Tony had a number of suggestions I hadn't considered for incorporation into the separation agreement and they were very ...

Very positive atmosphere!
Hartsoe & Associates have represented me for numerous traffic violations and every time they were reliable and very accessible. I felt very comfortable in our meetings and they were very kind. I can't recommend them enough!

"I endorse this lawyer for any area of law. I have worked with and for Tony for a number of years and have had the privilege of having him as my mentor. Tony is a top notch attorney -- he is professional, extremely experienced and knowledgeable, and serves as a zealous advocate for his clients in a time of need. I would certainly recommend him to anyone in need of legal services."
"Tony is a tenacious trial attorney with years of experience. He works to truly understand his client's problems and to resolve them with a sound practical approach before stepping into the courtroom. Tony makes his clients feel at ease, partnering with them as they journey through some of the most difficult times they will ever face in their lifetime. I highly recommend Tony."

"I have known Mr. Hartsoe "Tony" for years and can say without reservation he is one of the finest attorneys in the legal community. Tony is an exceptional advocate for his clients and is beloved by his clients. Having worked with many attorneys throughout the legal community, I can say without reservation that Tony's results are second to none."
"Mr. Hartsoe is a member of the Christian Family Law Association. His adherence to Christian values and compassionate representation of clients makes him one of the elite lawyers in North Carolina. I endorse this lawyer."
"I highly recommend Tony to any of my clients who need help in one of his practice areas. I've never received a bad report back from any of my clients. Tony not only cares about his clients, but represents them at the highest level around."
"Tony is a good lawyer and a great guy. Having been opposing counsel in cases with attorney Harsoe, I know he fights vigorously for his clients."
"I am not quick to be impressed by lawyers, and take time to compliment very few. But I have to admit to being impressed by Tony. Not the typical lawyer at all. He goes back a ways and has a lot of legal experience to draw on about many legal areas. That is crucial. His lack of pretension will set well with a lot of people. His associate Joe Schmidt is probably the perfect fit for his office. Although Joe may look a little young, you can tell he is an up and comer, and has an unusually good grasp of things already."
"I endorse this lawyer. Tony advocated for his client in a professional and expert manner. I respect Tony as an attorney and an individual. His office staff is efficient and pleasant to work with."
"I endorse Tony as a likeable, effective and especially caring lawyer, who has excelled in practice areas in which some of the most difficult problems arise for individuals."
"I endorse this lawyer's work. Tony is a good Christian lawyer that cares about and even prays with his clients if they desire that. Tony inspires me to be a better lawyer and a better witness for Christ."
