Biography
Jon has been a board-certified specialist in family law since 2001. Only approximately 3.5% of North Carolina lawyers are certified as specialists. He has served as the committee chair of the Family Law Specialization Committee for the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. This organization is tasked with the responsibility of examining and certifying family law practitioners as board-certified specialists in North Carolina.
Jon has been a guest lecturer and author for numerous continuing legal education programs and publications and has additionally served as an adjunct professor teaching family law at the Wake Forest University School of Law.
Jon's practice includes all areas related to divorce, such as child custody, child support, post separation support, alimony, equitable distribution and domestic violence.
