Frederick B. Adams, II is the owner and sole attorney at the Law Offices of Frederick B. Adams, P.C., a law firm based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He has been licensed to practice law in North Carolina since September 2000, when he was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar and the U.S. District Court Middle District of North Carolina. A native of Bluefield, Virigina, Frederick attended Bluefield College where received his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in December 1996. After graduation, he moved to Winston-Salem to pursue a law degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law. After receiving his law degree from Wake Forest in May 2000 and passing the bar exam a couple of months later, Frederick began his legal career as an attorney with the firm of Womble, Carlyle, Sandridge, and Rice. In November 2002, he then accepted a position with Crumley & Associates, the largest consumer-based law firm in North Carolina. While at Crumley & Associates, Frederick worked in the both the pre-litigation and litigation departments and represented countless people throughout the Triad who had been injured primarily in motor vehicle accidents.
After gaining a wealth of experience and knowledge in personal injury cases, Frederick then opened his own law office, the Law Offices of Frederick B. Adams, P.C. in April 2005. After opening his own practice, Frederick expanded his areas of practice to include clients who were charged with criminal and traffic offenses.
Although zealously advocating for his clients is one of Frederick’s primary goals, he also understands the importance of being involved in the community. Since graduating from Wake Forest, Frederick has served as a mentor to students of all ages, particularly those students who are interested in pursuing a career in law. In addition to mentoring, Frederick also serves his community through various charitable sponsorships and through his participation as a member of the boards of directors for the North Carolina Black Repertory Company, Communities in Schools, and Family Blueprints of North Carolina.
Along with his work in the community, Frederick is also a member of several professional organizations. He is a member of the Forsyth County Criminal Defense Trial Lawyers Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, and the Forsyth County Bar Association. He has also been a member of the Forsyth County Bar Association’s Ethics and Grievance Committee, and he is also a member of the Winston-Salem Bar Assocation where he currently serves proudly as President.
