DUI and No Operators...Dismissed!

I contacted Harley here on Avvo with questions related to my case a few months ago. From the very beginning it was obvious to me that he was the best DUI attorney in WV. My case was somewhat complicated due to past DUIs in another state and I could very easily have ended up with jail time. From the v...ery beginning Harley told me exactly what I needed to do..before I even hired him! No other lawyer I had spoken with did this, so I hired him. He and his paralegal guided and stood by my side throughout the entire process, I knew exactly what to do and what to expect. When court came I didn't even have to enter the room until everything was said and done, and that was just to sign the paperwork. I was expecting a DUI, the verdict was DUI and No Operators Dismissed! I couldn't believe it. If you are reading this review wondering if you should hire Harley for your DUI, stop wondering and wasting time..hire him, he will get you the best possible outcome and fight tooth and nail to get it.

The best attorney BAR none

Harley Wagner is by far and beyond the best counselor, advocate and litigator you could have on your side. Harley has a breadth and depth of knowledge of the law that most attorneys could only aspire too. It has been my experience that most of the time, when you work with experienced professional l...awyers, as established as Harley, that you will be dealing with their team, or a paralegal and never work with the person that is actually handling your case until the court date. That was what I was expecting when I reached out to Harley. I could not have been more wrong. Harley personally walked me through every step of my case, every piece of correspondence and updated me PERSONALLY every step of the way. I travel frequently to the West Coast and would send emails late by EST standards and Harley or his team would have me an answer by the time I landed in LA. And just for perspective, my case was a misdemeanor offense. I was shocked to see Harley at every hearing and responding to every email and phone call. He was there every step of the way. I saw a lot of people in the lobby of the courtroom without their attorney; mine was their every time. I felt like I was his first and only priority every time he went to bat for me. His team is amazing. They updated me on every event and every change and proactively told me how I should handle correspondences so I could make sure I did not miss any important deadlines. Not only that, but Harley always personally kept me in tune with every important change in my case and even called me to make sure I had a good Christmas and to make sure I was OK and to let me know he was handling everything so I could relax and have a good time with my family. When you have legal issues, they consume your life and make you so stressed you cant see straight. Having your attorney call you and keep you up to date when you are so worried about what may happen, was such a huge relief. In my experience, that doesn't ever happen. But Harley always made me feel like we were in control of what happened in my case and that put my mind at ease. Harley was my constant reminder that we could find a solution to my problem and kept me grounded. When I had to go to court, Harley was with me and he knew exactly what to do in every situation. He was covering my back and looked out for me every step of the way. He was an expert litigator in court and a really nice guy who really cared about me and my family. I really cant say enough about how much Harley did for me. I can say without a doubt, that Harley Wagner is the best attorney I have ever had the pleasure of working with. If you think you are backed into a corner and don't have a friend that has your back; call Harley. I can tell you from my experience, you will feel so much better that you did. Aggravated DUI reduced to Reckless Driving

After my arrest in late 2015 for a First Offense Aggravated DUI in which I was alleged to have registered a 0.195 BAC, I had narrowed my search down to three lawyers. I reached out to my cousin who has 20+ years as a lawyer in PA and she sent me to this site to see what else we could find out to hel...p me make a decision. After a few minutes of looking at Harley’s profile and the reviews from other clients she said, “Without a doubt, this is your guy. Call him as soon you hang up with me.” She was right. At the conclusion of my initial consultation with Harley I felt a good deal better about my situation and had a much greater understanding of the process I was about to go thru. After retaining Harley’s services and talking to him in depth about my case I felt as though a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders and finally had some hope that I would get thru this mistake with my life, family and career intact. Harley, Heather and Connie were great! They guided me thru everything; the Safety and Treatment Program classes, the ignition interlock process, the pros and cons of going thru the civil court and the entire criminal court process. The three of them did not treat me as just another client who had employed their services and they always made time for me no matter how simple or complicated my questions and concerns were, they had a very positive impact on me during the entire ordeal. At my initial appearance in court, Harley got my Aggravated DUI reduced to Reckless Driving and I came out of the entire affair a minor fine and no criminal record. Hire Harley Wagner!

Let me say a few words about the attorney who was able to get my DUI case dismissed. I repeat... HARLEY WAGNER GOT MY DUI CASE DISMISSED. Harley Wagner not only has the reputation for being the best DUI Defense Lawyer in West Virginia, he also delivers. When I was pulled over for a questionable ...traffic violation, and subsequently given a DUI, I knew I needed to find the best to represent me. This was not the time to hire a fly by night attorney, or some lawyer that is all over the legal system defending every type of criminal case. Harley does one thing. He defends DUI cases, and defends them very well. If you want the best, retain the best. When I called his office, on the day I received my paperwork from the magistrate, Harley was on the other side of West Virginia defending a DUI case. His staff promptly took my information and passed it on to Harley. He called me less than an hour later from his personal cell phone. He knew I was worried, as we all are when charged with a DUI. My biggest concern at that moment was not knowing what will happen. Harley alleviates your concerns immediately. He tells you exactly what all the outcomes could be, and lets you know that he will handle everything for you. From the very first conversation, I could tell he was the attorney I needed to prove my innocence. Harley was a veritable encyclopedia of DUI case knowledge. He explained that I had a very winnable case, and he held true to that assertion. My case has been dismissed, and my record remains unblemished, thanks to his expert legal prowess. He handled the case like a true professional, and left no stone unturned. He made certain my best interests were met. His legal team is top notch. When I walked into his office and saw his numerous degrees, accommodations, practicum study certificates, and so on, I was blown away. Harley is an expert marksman during legal proceedings. Watching him deliberate my case and cross examine the officer was a thing of beauty. It's no wonder that when the State finds out you've hired Harley Wagner, they do everything they can to make a deal and lower your charge. In my case, we made no deals. Harley got my DUI dismissed. I repeat this often, because it is worth noting. Getting a DUI dismissed is not easy, but Harley Wagner got it done. He is worth every penny. I personally recommend Harley Wagner to my friends and family, and I am doing the same for you right now. If you take your DUI seriously, hire Harley Wagner. Do what he and his staff tell you. If he recommends dealing for a lower charge, then that is your best possible outcome. Harley only does what is best for you. He truly cares about the well being of his clients. He is even spearheading legislation to make DUI charges less onerous on taxpayers by reducing the need for costly DMV administrative hearings, and at the same time addressing the double jeopardy aspect of implied consent DMV suspensions. This lawyer is a juggernaut. Do not mess around with your DUI. Put yourself in the hands of the man that literally wrote the book on West Virginia DUI case law. Hire Harley Wagner!
