My attorney was very responsive to my emails and phone calls and offered suggestions and advice prior to my court case that would help me prepare and present a strong case. I had a good outcome from my case and I attribute part of this to my attorney, though I also feel like some of his advice was a... bit misguided. Overall, I would recommend this lawyer to others. Neill Wente was as good a lawyer as I could have possibly hoped for. I received a severe speeding ticket, and was faced with potentially serious charges. This was my first time in court, and he put a lot of work into making sure I clearly understood everything and was prepared for everything I woul...d need for the day (even to the point of roleplaying the proceedings so I would know just what to say). He was quick to respond to any questions, very pleasant to be around, and was completely honest—providing me with all the possible outcomes and giving me the likelihood of each. In the end, Wente presented to the court and lowered my charge even more than what I was expecting, and I definitely would not have had much hope in my case without his help. Overall, would highly recommend!

I hired Mr. Wente for a 1st offender marijuana charge that I received in Lexington Va. Since I wasn't from the state I wanted to make sure I would be represented by the best Lexington had to offer. So I did my homework for a week interviewing other attorneys in the area and by far Mr. Wente was the b...est fit having the experience and knowledge of the Lexington judicial system. Once I explained the events that took place to Mr. Wente he immediately told me that the case was weak but we would have A up hill battle to fight. He went straight to work and made sure when I stepped foot in the court room I would have full knowledge of my options if I were found guilty. An also our game plan to prove my innocence. While on trial Mr. Wente successfully executed that game plan exposesing the lack of evidence the prosecution had. I was found not guilty and the case was dismissed. If it was not for the professionalism and experience of Mr. Wente I truly believe the outcome could have been different. A lot could have went wrong in my life if I was convicted of this charge so i was beyond satisfied with the work Mr. Wente displayed. If you need someone to be honest with you and fight for you Mr. Wente is your guy!
