I received a speeding ticket in Rockbridge County, VA last summer, 92 in a 70. Being from out of state I didn’t realize the significance of the reckless driving charge. When I got back home, I started researching and calling lawyers. A lot of attorneys I came across invested in a lot of marketing and... made a lot of promises. I made some phone calls and spoke to some paralegals and associates, but when I called Neill and left him a message, he called me back himself to speak to me. In fact I only spoke to Neill, I was never handed off to an assistant. He was upfront and realistic about the charge and what expectations I should have, and his rates were very reasonable. Reducing the misdemeanor reckless driving charge was very important to me so I hired Neill, followed all of his advice, and even made the trip back to VA for the hearing. The charge was reduced to a standard speeding charge of 79 in a 70. Throughout the case, I found Neill to be responsive, honest, and effective. I am from out of state and was charged with 7 counts of possession with intent to distribute in Buena Vista, VA. Neill was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire case. He worked with me on answering the many questions I had regarding the case as well as many other extraneous details... involved with me being in school and out of state. He was proactive in dealing with the prosecutor and did a phenomenal job at negotiating my sentence. He managed to get me a first offenders agreement for an otherwise possibly very poor outcome.
