I recently had a reckless driving case that was for speeding and was extremely nervous about the entire thing. I acquired a Reckless Driving by Speed (85/70) while trying to put too many miles in too short of a visit in Virginia. I live in Missouri, and currently work in Nebraska. Dealing with this issue in person was not an option as I was in the process of transferring from one Nebraska assignment to anoth...er, and had no additional time I could spare in Virginia to hire counsel in person, much less to appear in court. I was traveling with my two cousins and my sister through Virginia and was stopped by a state trooper for speeding (92/70). I received a citation for reckless driving and a court date.
