Lee R. Taylor

First and foremost Lee is a true gentlemen. I am an out of state driver who was charged with exceeding 80 mph. Everyone knows by now that this is considered reckless driving in Virginia. Lee and his staff were excellent. They told me exactly what I had to do before my trial. I did everything the...y asked of me. Lee was prepared and very reassuring but honest in his assessment. He knew most of the key players at the courthouse. Through his guidance and expertise, he was able to have by charge reduced to a "regular" speeding ticket. I HIGHLY recommend you call him and do everything they ask before your trial.

I got caught speeding in Rockbridge county well over 20 mph and got lucky that I didn't go to jail that day. In my research for a good attorney I called several and I spoke to Mr. Taylor. He took the time for a phone consultation to answer all my questions even though I wasn't his client yet. I real...ly liked the way he presented all the things I had to do and several options for my case. His helpfulness and honesty led me to hire his law firm. Mr.Taylor and his firm worked with me step by step to provide different options that would help my case (traffic school, community service, speedometer calibration, etc). I live in Florida and traveled there for the day of court, well worth it! Because Mr. Taylor had prepared everything so well and explained to me everything that would happen, we had a great outcome and my ticket was reduced to a regular speeding ticket. I know that this is a rare outcome at such a high speed in rockbridge county, but thanks to Mr. Taylor and his team and expertise (and my following their directions), we were able to achieve the best result. Lee Taylor is a superb lawyer from all points of view: extremely competent and knowledgeable about every detail of the law, passionate about his work, a quick thinker and most importantly and a rare occurrence these days an attorney and person of great integrity and exemplary professional ethics. Excellent preparation and handling of a case that may have resulted in jail time. Mr. Taylor acted with extreme adaptability when faced with changing circumstances. At the very last minute, he became aware that there would be a visiting judge. Mr. Taylor sat in on several cases to determine how th...is judge reacted and handed down decisions. Once called into the courtroom, the case going on at the time was very similar to what Mr. Taylor would be defending. He conferred with the Public Defender and secured a very favorable decision based upon the judge's ruling in the previous case. It was, in my opinion, a brilliant strategy. Although Mr. Taylor prepared us, he saw the opportunity to work with the prosecutor and the appearance took all of 10 minutes.
