Jennifer met with my mother and I and reviewed our current documents. She provided us with alot of information we did not know and made the proper recommendations to help my mother with her estate planning. She allowed my mother flexible payment options as well. Jennifer was always available to conta...ct with questions or concerns. She explains things very throughly and easy to understand. Jennifer prepared several legal documents for my mother that will ensure she is well cared for and honors her wishes. Jennifer's background in working with the elderly is unique in my opinion for a attorney. She has worked in facilities for the elderly and has had alot of interaction with older people. She understands what is involved in caring for a elderly person and the problems that present a challenge. Jennifer was always very patient and respectful with my mother. She even came to our home and did the final signings of the documents, so my mother who suffers from chronic pain could be more comfortable. In my opinion, Jennifer is the "Total Package" if you are looking for an attorney who specializes in estate and elder law issues. Her background, education and personality are wonderful for this type of law. My mother and I chose Jennifer to ask for legal help among several lawyers we were referred to because we believed she was uniquely qualified to help us with my mom's estate planning. We could not have made a better choice in asking Jennifer for help. My mother and I feel very fortunate we found Attorney Jennifer Kahl and have had such a positive experience. It should also be noted she has wonderful support staff to work with as well. My mother still has one more legal issue that has to be addressed. Jennifer did a great job in guiding me (executor) through the estate closure process of my parents. The process is confusing even when all goes smoothly. In this case, due to circumstances beyond our control, the process was even more difficult. She did a great job in both preparing the needed docume...nts and in advising me of the steps I should take to resolve the issues that were unique to my case. I highly recommend Jennifer.

In early Spring we worked with Ms. Kahl to review and update our trusts. She was exceptionally competent and courteous. She was especially helpful in restating certain provisions of our trusts to bring them more in line with what our goals really were -- we had somehow missed the mark originally in... expressing them clearly. Overall, we were vey pleased with her professional services.
