"Saved My Job, Exceeded Every Expectation: Monte Kuligowski Is the Real Deal"

Mr. Monte Edward Kuligowski is an outstanding attorney. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and responsive. He represented me in a challenging traffic court case that threatened my livelihood. Throughout the process, he was incredibly patient, taking the time to thoroughly explain the issues, my o...ptions, and the best path forward. While no attorney can guarantee results, Mr. Kuligowski went above and beyond by carefully problem-solving and exploring every possible option. In my case, he delivered a significantly better outcome than we had initially hoped for. His professionalism, calm demeanor, and quiet confidence helped ease my anxiety during what was a very stressful situation. He took my case seriously, truly understood my circumstances, and fought hard on my behalf. I highly recommend Monte Edward Kuligowski to anyone who needs a dedicated and skilled attorney. I was truly fortunate to have him on my side.

Review

Highly Recommend Monte for any cases you have. Very professional, straight to the point, walks you through every step. He definitely helped significantly lower the penalties in my cases. I would say he is probably the best Attorney in the District.

Excellent service

I had a great experience with Monte E. Kuligowski. Not only he prepared all my paperwork needed for my court date, but also gave me important advice on what was needed to win my reckless driving case. He was punctual and professional during my court hearing, having my case dismissed, and more import...antly not affecting my record negatively. Thank you for your service.

Thank you Attorney Kuligowski for getting my case dismissed!!!

On May 31, 2021 I was passing through Southampton County (Courtland) Virginia and heading back to North Carolina. The Sheriff was parked to the side with his blue lights flashing. During that time he did not have anyone pulled over. He had just finished writing someone else a ticket! When I saw the S...heriff parked to the side I reduced my speed 10 miles below the speed limit because I know how they operate in this area. Since I was a child I have seen so many Sheriff's and State Troopers in Emporia Virginia, Courtland Virginia, and Greenville County pull people over just to make money. I am now 33 years old and this is still happening. They are always eager to pull over people and charge them with the highest misdemeanors and or felonies. YOUTUBE has a video about these areas in Virginia and there was a story about this on CBS news as well. This is how these small cities/counties make their money in Virginia. The State of Virginia and Department of Justice needs to investigate these areas AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Back to the story, the Sheriff pulled me over because I didn't change lanes. When he pulled me over, he almost had me in the ditch. He also seemed upset and power hungry while I was trying to understand what he was saying. He charged me with Virginia move over law (failed to yield to emergency vehicle) . This law is considered a Class 1 misdemeanor, possible jail time up to 12 months and a fine up to $2,500. I didn't move over because I wanted the Sheriff to see that I was going extra slow. Also I didn't want him to clock another vehicle and then accuse me. I thought I was following the laws and being cautious so I could avoid getting a ticket. I do understand stand the importance of moving over when emergency lights are on. Definitely if the officer is standing outside. So of course I had to drive back to this area for court. On my way to the court there was so many Sheriff's pulling folks over in SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY. I SAID LET ME HURRY UP AND GET OUT OF THIS POWER AND MONEY HUNGRY COUNTIES! When I arrived Atty. Kuligowski was already present. He made sure I was fully prepared for court, he was on point, and this man know the law. He questioned the cop in front of the judge because everyone knew he was lying. The cop said when I passed him his vehicle shooked, but I wasn't even speeding and I reduced my speed 10 miles below the speed limit. The judge even questioned him. Next thing I know Atty. Kuligowski filed a strike and noticed the officer lied on his statement and said something different in the court room. Judged said case is dismissed!!!!!!!!!! Lord Jesus!!!!!! Thank you for saving me from that CROOKED SHERIFF and sending an angel by the name of Atty. Kuligowski. I begged God to hear my cry because I was being 100 percent honest to Atty. Kuligowski and the judge. If you're in trouble and need a lawyer please contact and hire Atty. Kuligowski. I promise he will have your back. This entire situation put me in a stage of depression, it increase my blood pressure, I lost weight, couldn't sleep and barely was eating. This all took place while I was dealing with a dying father. As an African American male, I was already scared to death. I just knew the judge was going to believe this crooked Sheriff, but God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trust me I know about the history in these counties in Virginia. I'm just being honest! Atty. Kuligowski worked with me financially, he told me everything will be alright and I pray that God bless him in a big way. You where sent by God and this child of God is truly thankful!!!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
