I would like to take this opportunity to write a review about Mr. Christopher T. Voltin, J.D. as an attorney to defend a case of false allegation of shoplifting. Mr. Voltin is extremely knowledgeable, well-versed, honest, dedicated, personable and excellent attorney. He is very professional from... start to finish. For most attorneys' offices, you don't get to talk directly to the attorney in the first chance, you first talk to the paralegals and later on to the attorney. In Mr. Voltin's case, you get to talk to him directly in the first chance. Also, you don't usually get to email directly to the attorney - you have to go through a paralegal and in the end reach the attorney. In Mr. Voltin's case, you can email directly to him and he is prompt with a response. He is within your reach whenever you need him. No attorney would spend hour after hour in a conference call after-hours with the client and family but he takes the time to do so. He answers all the questions of the client. He gives the client an expert opinion and good advice on all of the legal options and lets the client make his/her own decision. He would share the prosecutor's 'Discovery' with the client. He cares about his client and diligently fights for your case. In court he is very prepared, thorough, motivated and extremely aggressive in defending your case. He fights the case like it was his family and brings the truth to light before the Judge. He proved to the Judge that the allegation of shoplifting was false and the client walked out of the courtroom "Not Guilty". I was in a huge bind, The San Diego, Ca county gave custody to my daughters father in Hampton, Va. He filed the custody agreement there. Then out of no where I got a served with court saying that they wanted to get new visitation and custody agreement in VA and would change the little time I already ...have to almost nothing. In a panic I searched online for immediate representation. I hired Chris from 3 Time zones away and he has been nothing but outstanding, understanding and professional.
