About Elizabeth
Biography
Elizabeth Bircher has significant experience in Elder Law, Estate Planning, Special Needs Planning, Guardianship/Conservatorship Proceedings, and Estate, Trust, and Conservatorship Administration.
Ms. Bircher has also served as a Guardian ad litem for adults. She earned both her undergraduate and law degrees from the College of William and Mary. She has served on the Board of the Virginia Association of Elder Law Attorneys (VAELA) since 2009 and as Secretary of VAELA since 2011.
Ms. Bircher is also one of several Virginia representatives for an American Bar Association-sponsored program on behalf of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) for Virginia’s versions of State Fiduciary Guides (Trustees under a Revocable Living Trust), 2013 – 2014. She has also served as an Officer of Election in York County since 2006.
Ms. Bircher enjoys public speaking and has given numerous presentations to community groups, as well as at continuing legal education events.
