I served over 22 years in the United States Navy. I was enlisted for 12 years and served as a Legalman (military paralegal) and selected for Chief Legalman (E-7). I was served 10 years as an officer as a Limited Duty Officer for Law (LDO Law) and obtained my law degree on my own during night school and am the only LDO Law in the history of the Untied States navy to obtain their law degree while serving on active duty. I retired in 2010 and opened my own law practice and now put my years of experience to help military members with Court-Martial Defense, Administrative Discharge Hearings, and discharge upgrades.
Also, while serving on active duty, I was the Security Clearance Manager for 3 separate military commands and administered the security clearance program. As an attorney, I have successfully represended dozens and dozens of clients before almost every Federal Agency to appeal their Denied Security Clearance.

RIPOFF
Rick took a retainer of $3,500 and produced nothing after months of documents uploaded to Clio. Follow-ups with his staff after no response fielded nothing.

Scam
We reached out to Rick to assist my boyfriend in a matter. He requested a deposit which we paid. He sent us some paperwork and we had questions. We reached out and have not heard from him in 2 years despite multiple attempts! Stay far away! He should lose his license

Very disappointed in this man
I expected more from him, He took my $3,600 retainer promising to upgrade my discharge and get VA benefits for me. He did nothing. He doesn't answer phone calls, emails, text messages or messages left on his web site. His conduct is not what I expected from a Navel Officer. This is a life changing ev...

Don’t waste your money
I paid Rick Morris to look into a discharge upgrade. He took my money I got a couple emailed back and forth in the beginning and then nothing. Multiple calls and emails with no return. This guy is a disgrace and shouldnbe out in jail
"I endorse Rich Morris. I serve with Rick Morris in the Virginia General Assembly and on legal matters involving military law. I am Chairman of the House Courts of Justice (Judiciary Committee). Rick is my "go to" attorney when I need legal work done on important legal issues with serious consequences. In my private law practice, when I have a military client, I always refer them to Rick to work out the consequences that may result from a criminal charge."
