Military Upgrade

I hired Rick Morris to get my discharge upgraded from General - Under Honorable Conditions to Honorable. He put together a large packet and compelling argument to send the review board. The upgrade went through and I now have an honorable discharge. He is extremely knowledgeable on the subject and I ...would recommend him to anyone in a similar situation. I would recommend having all your discharge paperwork and military records on hand before you start the process. The process can take quite a long time.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I endorse Rich Morris. I serve with Rick Morris in the Virginia General Assembly and on legal matters involving military law. I am Chairman of the House Courts of Justice (Judiciary Committee). Rick is my "go to" attorney when I need legal work done on important legal issues with serious consequences. In my private law practice, when I have a military client, I always refer them to Rick to work out the consequences that may result from a criminal charge."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
