So I got pinged doing 70 in a 45 (because apparently 45 is an acceptable speed limit on a 4 lane road with a 50 foot median in the middle of nowhere /s). In virginia, that kind of speeding is automatically a reckless driving criminal charge, which requires you to show up to court and carries with it... possible license suspension and even jail time. Attorney Mapp was able to go to court on my behalf (big plus, considering I live some 7 hours away from the courthouse) and got the charge reduced to a minor traffic offense. And even after all the fines, costs, and her fee were paid, I ended up spending less than the just the retainer fee of any other attorney in the area. Thanks Sharri!
