This place does not do what you paid them to do. Actually, they take their sweet time. She makes excuses but I don't care. You have my payment in full. If you can't do your job offer my money back and let me move on. But that would be too much like right. Over a year later and I am still in limbo. Th...ere are never updates unless you hound the office. They wait weeks to tell you other items are needed and you still only find that out after you hound them for an update. A simple matter that should be done already.

Hiring Ms. Mapp as your attorney in a civil matter is equivalent to going to a used car dealership on the turnpike and getting a 10 year old car for 25% interest. She does not advocate for you, she or her staff does not respond or complete tasks. When asked about the status of the case that shoul...d have been completed months ago, she states that the case is not a priority. She submits incomplete files to the court with no follow up and expects the client to know what to do. Lawyers are hired to SUBMIT COMPLETED files to the court. I do not recommend hiring this lawyer unless you want to deal with disrespect and incompetence from her or her staff. She prolongs cases so that she can continue to get paid.

I was booked for driving 100m/hr in Virginia. The place that has a reputation for the toughest traffic law. I was charged with reckless driving by speed which has a Jail time as a part of its penalty. My lawyer, Sharri Mapp, instructed me to do a few things and got a couple things done in preparatio...n for my court date, February 20, 2018. I was very scared knowing that persons have actually gone to jail for such action. However, my lawyer was extremely strategic with her approach and executed her strategy effectively which resulted in my charged being reduced to just a speeding ticket. So, my charged that has a maximum fine of $2500 was reduced to $250 plus court fees equating to $316. I was so relieved because my job was on the line. I am totally satisfied with the services of Mapp Law firm. I take pleasure in recommending them to anyone.

So I got pinged doing 70 in a 45 (because apparently 45 is an acceptable speed limit on a 4 lane road with a 50 foot median in the middle of nowhere /s). In virginia, that kind of speeding is automatically a reckless driving criminal charge, which requires you to show up to court and carries with it... possible license suspension and even jail time. Attorney Mapp was able to go to court on my behalf (big plus, considering I live some 7 hours away from the courthouse) and got the charge reduced to a minor traffic offense. And even after all the fines, costs, and her fee were paid, I ended up spending less than the just the retainer fee of any other attorney in the area. Thanks Sharri!
