Let me start out my saying I’ve been in and out of the court system with my son for 15 years ! She is by far the best attorney I’ve had ! She isn’t afraid to fight for you and your children . She was very reasonable with my custody and visitation cost ! Mrs. Wood is very organized and gifted in her j...ob ! She has changed my child’s life and my life and our outcome for the best ! She was a godsend ! She was always available to me by text , phone call or email ! She knew family law very well , my case was never continued or drawn out , she tackled everything in one case , custody , visitation and child support . I am so glad to have her on my side !

Unfortunately, Mrs. Wood had a lot personally going on that easily distracted her from putting my case first. She treated my case as if it was the last thing on her mind and it showed in court. Even though she was available to communicate daily by text or phone, it was only to bill me for each messag...e later, not to use any of the evidence in court to support the case. She would wait until moments before court to communicate or negotiate with the opposing parties. She would use her phone as a point of reference in front of the judge. Even the judge felt she was unprepared. When I tried to let her go, she came back with this extra $1000 invoice and illegally withheld my legal documents in order to get her money. It prevented me and prolonged me from continuing to fight in court even though I made arrangements to pay her. I had to hire another lawyer just to get my things back from Mrs. Wood and she still got her invoice paid in full. Ultimately, she helped put me in a worse position than I was before I hired her and charged me more than we originally agreed. She may be knowledgeable of the law, but I don’t think she has an enthusiasm for practicing anymore and it shows in her work. Reconsider hiring her if you have something very important.

Liz Wood was a game changer for me in my custody case. Before I met with her, I was a stressed out mess and she took the weight off my shoulders for me and made me feel confident in what I was asking for. She was always responsive and easy to speak with. I got what I wanted without having to go broke... to do so. She was honest with me from the start and I’m so so so grateful for her.

I've had to go back and forth to the court concerning custody, support, and visitation. It is a very stressful and draining process every single time. Especially when you have an attorney that isn't much help. I can't say that about Elizabeth Wood. She is quick to get back to you when she can, profes...sional, and knows what she's doing. She is usually in court, but just send her an e-mail or text message and before you know it, your request is fulfilled and/or you get an answer back from her. She made this last case a breeze. I expressed my concerns and she understood them. She made sure to cover the important details in the agreement. Keep in mind, she will help you realize the realistic view. So work with her and she'll work with you. Plan on having her represent me again in another city. I definitely recommend her.

She was very understanding with my concerns dealing with my son's disability and medical needs during my trial for custody. She kept me well informed with all the legal matters and answered all my questions, she also always had my best interest at heart. I was extremely satisfied with the outcome and... how she handled everything in court.
