also known as Dr. David P. Weber
Small town values - Big city experience.
I am an attorney, certified fraud examiner, and registered private investigator.
A very large portion of my practice is probate, employment law (private sector and government employees), and civil disputes. In the probate area, we frequently represent loved ones and estates in matters where allegations of financial irregularities have been made. It seems strange, but money makes people truly crazy.
Ultimately, my practice is focused on helping people through tough situations. If you need counsel, we can probably help. We handle cases in each of Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC, including on the Eastern Shore in both Maryland and Virginia.
Note: My practice is restricted to civil law -- I am not allowed to handle criminal defense cases as I am a part-time state prosecutor on the Delmarva.

David P. Weber Ph.D. represented me for a serious motor vehicle charge. When I spoke with him on the phone he was very pleasant and explained what the charges meant and the consequences that could happen. He was very up front and a matter of fact about the charges but reassuring at the same time. ...

I hired Goodwin Weber to assist on an employment matter regarding fitness for duty for law enforcement. Dr. David Weber is well versed in the subject and was able to assist within the deadlines of my employer. In a very time sensitive and otherwise sensitive issue, working with Dr. Weber was as smoot...

Disgusting person. Using his license to politicize innocent people. He should be ashamed of himself. Never in my life have I encountered such an unprofessional person.
I am confident from the supposed review, that this person never consulted with me. The person is complaining because I did something amazing and important - act as a zealous advocate for my client, who is dead, Police Officer Jeffrey L. Smith, who died as a result of injuries he suffered on January 6, 2021. Officer Smith is the first Police Officer to have every been designated a line of duty death from a suicide, even though the suicide was due to the TBIs he suffered on January 6th. The person posting this review does not seem to understand serving as an advocate for victims and clients does not make a lawyer disgusting. In fact, it means the lawyer is performing their ethical and sworn duty as a lawyer. Here, I stood for a widow, and her deceased husband. That's hardly disgusting. In fact, it is an honor.

David was great. He handled my business professionally. He was knowledgeable and gave us a lot of good advice
"David Weber and I serve on the Maryland Defense Force together. In that capacity, I have gotten to know David and to see that he is both an excellent attorney as well as a person. I fully endorse him."
"David and I have worked on a number of matters together. He is a highly intelligent lawyer, who is able to quickly and accurately synthesize information and come up with an out-of-the-box solution to even difficult and unusual problems. David handles all of my probate litigation; I trust him with my most important client litigation matters."
"David issue spotted all the big and small ticket items, was great with the prospective client, and analyzed the strategic decisions to be appreciating the interrelated legal, procedural, and extrajudicial factors to consider."
"With great enthusiasm, I offer my absolute and unreservedly highest recommendation for David Paul Weber. Although nothing I say in a space this brief will do him appropriate justice, please allow me to attempt to explain why I am recommending David. Simply stated, as an attorney, professor, and military officer, David excels at every challenge that he encounters. Importantly, David possesses an innate intelligence and drive that is unrivaled. David anticipates and fulfills the needs of his clients, provides brilliant analysis, and, importantly, is a great guy with whom it is a pleasure to work. I have observed David closely with his students, colleagues, and clients and he is professional and ethical beyond reproach. I have no doubt that David is a superb attorney ideally suited to provide counsel in a vast array of practice areas. I wholeheartedly endorse David without reservation."
"David Paul Weber and I were law school classmates, studied for the Bar Examination together, and we have grown closer over the years. We worked together on a part of a US government grant. David’s skill set is a perfect fit to investigate and if necessary, to advocate in a federal claim. David has extensive experience successfully navigating the political nature of and nuances of federal law and agency regulations. David communicates effectively and is available to a distressed client. He has a good sense of humor and thinks outside of the box. David’s background is impressive with honors degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels, the privilege to practice law in multiple jurisdictions, and a federal clerkship. Mr. Weber is intense and tough. David Weber has personally led some of the most high profile investigations and prosecutions in recent times and of our nation’s financial crisis. I endorse this lawyer."
