Not what I expected

The only, but huge, issue I had with her services is that I found her to be extremely uncommunicative. Not being an attorney I had no idea what to expect, and she did next to nothing to prepare me for court. I was not told what would happen, how to prepare myself, what to know, what to do, what she n...eeded from me, what anyone needed from me, etc. I felt the entire time that I was very low on the totem pole in terms of priority. After working with other attorneys since, I now know that this is not the norm. My entire case ended up being fought on evidence I had to proactively gather without being asked - because I became scared that she was not following through and guiding me properly. Had I not done that, I sincerely believe I would have lost in a big way. In court, you could tell she was bright, and sharp, and handled herself very well. In fact - I am utterly baffled at how much skill she appears to have, but how poorly she handled the case. At the end of the day the case went worse than expected, and I did everything possible to help myself - but my attorney could have done so much more. I'm not sure she even cares or knows how much those mistakes cost me. For the above reasons I couldn't honestly recommend her.
