Horrible company
Don’t waste your money with this company. They will take your money, then do nothing during the trail. Especially stay away from Alysha. She doesn’t care about you or your child.

Just a job
I’m not one to usually write reviews, but under these circumstances it seems appropriate. I hired ms Shannon to represent my sister on a motion to reconsider and at the beginning she seemed very sincere in her desire to help. Something had changed once she got paid and it seemed like i was working fo...
Nathan, I empathize with the stress and frustration that you are experiencing over your father’s declining health and your sister’s incarceration. However, I think your comments in your review are misplaced. As you remember, I was retained to draft a Motion to Reconsider your sister’s sentence. I was not the attorney who handled your sister’s underlying case or sentencing. During our consultation, I warned you that post-conviction motions were not frequently granted, and you stated that you understood that. Three weeks to prepare and draft a motion of this nature is not excessive by industry standards. As I was not the attorney that handled the underlying charges/sentencing, I needed to review the court file, speak with the original attorney, contact the Department of Corrections and clarify information with you. My office communicated with you numerous times during my representation and tried to manage your expectations. I was surprised to see this review, as you did not express any dissatisfaction to me when we discussed the court’s denial of the motion. Your frustration was directed at the court’s ruling, not at the way I handled your sister’s matter. I’m not sure what changed between then and now, but I am certainly willing to discuss any issues that have arisen with you. Please contact my office and I will be glad to schedule a time to speak with you.

No Good
Other issues withstanding, she did not show up to court! She scheduled two court cases at the same time and I sat in court waiting for my attorney to show up AND SHE NEVER DID!!!! Not worth taking the chance on.
Thank you for your review. However, to my best recollection, there have been no Family Law cases where I have not appearing at a scheduled court hearing. While there are certainly instances where another hearing may run longer than anticipated, causing me to be late to the next scheduled hearing, those instances are not common. When those situations arise, my staff immediately contacts the courts and makes them aware of my location. Unfortunately, there are circumstances beyond an attorney's control when dealing with time in court. However, there has not been a time when I simply "do not show up."
"Kristen is a diligent advocate for her clients. She is very prepared and easy to work with. I endorse this attorney."
