Simon was responsive; but, as my court-appointed attorney, either clearly disregarded my concerns regarding conflict of interest in court, or was merely anxious to get my case out of the way. Following an attempt to have my bail posted at a bond hearing, Simon essentially scolded me for ‘knowing‘ (of...) court staff (e.g. attorneys, deputies, judges), among other things, and then hastily made arrangements with the Commonwealth Attorney’s office to turn my bond hearing into trial.
