Claude Stuart Whitehead III

I practice criminal and traffic law in the Richmond area.  I also am a real estate developer in the City of Richmond.  I practice law in the following cities and counties:  City of Richmond, Chesterfield County, Henrico County, Hanover County, Caroline County, City of Petersburg, Dinwiddie County, Greensville County, Prince George County, Goochland County, Mecklenburg County, Brunswick County, Sussex County, New Kent County, Louisa County, City of Charlottesville, Albemarle County, Spottsylvania County, King George County, King William County, Essex County, City of Neport News, and several more.  I generally practice within 2 hours of Richmond but I have practiced in most of the Courthouses in Virginia.

Much of my practice is devoted to representing people charged with Reckless Driving, Driving Under the Influence, Possession of Marijuana, and many other state misdemeanor and felony charges.  I try to avoid practicing in Federal Court.  I have been in court almost every day for 28 years.  I prosecuted many murders, robberies and rapes during my time in the Commonwealth Attorney's Office.  

At the present, I spend about half of my time practicing law and the other half of my time focused on my real estate projects.  The rest of my time is spent with my family.  I coach baseball, basketball and soccer.  At times, I have coached 6 to 7 different sports teams each year.
