Jennifer Marie Fox

Jennifer was recommend to me by another attorney to handle my hostile divorce/custody case. I had originally hired a different attorney but was unhappy with them. Fortunately, Jennifer agreed to take the case and I am so thankful for her services. She was very proactive from the onset, quickly put ...my malicious ex in his place, and refused to compromise with his unreasonable demands. She spent many hours on my case and got me the results I wanted. I was ultimately granted full custody of my child and a no-contact order with my ex. Jennifer was knowledgeable, organized always well-prepared for court dates/meetings throughout the case. I highly recommend Jennifer to anyone seeking a divorce/custody attorney, and would definitely hire her again.

Jennifer came recommended from another attorney that I knew, they described her as "the best in the Richmond area". I called to set up a meeting and was in her office immediately. Within the first 10 minutes of meeting her I knew that statement was correct. She has gone above and beyond for my family... time and time again. I always feel she has prepared herself immensely for our court hearings. Having her in the court room with me has taken away so much anxiety. I know that Jennifer truly cares about her clients and their situation. She does everything in her power to make sure you understand what is going on. Anytime I call or email her I have a response immediately. Whenever I have a question, she exhibits great knowledge on all areas. I know without a doubt, Jennifer is the main reason I have sole custody. There is no way to show my great amount of gratitude to Jennifer Fox for the services and care she has provided to my family. I would recommend her to anyone.

I could not have asked for a better fit to represent me in court then Jennifer. She's very professional and can also relate to just about anyone. When my child custody case started I had no idea where to start when it came to hiring an attorney. I had 2 different people, who didn't know each other... at all, recommend her to me. I gave her a call and seriously couldn't be happier. She has taken my phone calls late at night and I've sat in her office with her well after the building has closed. I even recommended her to my neighbor who was having child custody issues and he has told me many times how satisfied he is with what she did for him. She has represented me as well as anyone could, which is why I will continue to use her in the future with any issues I have regarding my son.

Ms. Fox came highly recommended from others, but my situation did not end so well. I felt I had to settle out of court due to the lack of attention and guidance I was getting during my case. I was also informed by Ms. Fox that the case was not going the way she was expecting or used to and she had pu...lled in her partner to discuss. In the settlement meeting Ms. Fox was unaware of some of the terms of my PSA and had to ask the other laywer to show her some of the items for referance. I felt I had to speak up and defend for myself - at that time Mrs. Fox pulled me out of the meeting and said "you are a strong woman but you dont want to go up against me". Not exactly what you want to hear from the person who is supposed to be on your side. There was also a chain of emails I was copied on between Ms. Fox and the other attorney were at one point Ms Fox commented "my client has told me XYZ, is this true?" This made me very uncofortable that my attorney was sharing what I told her with the opposing attorney and asking for verification - poor choice in my opinion and did not make me feel I could trust her with my very private information any longer. Again, Jennifer came highly recommended from someone she successfully represented. In my situation I felt she was uninvolved and provided little guidance. Even once telling me a story how she prepped very little for a case, but "turned it on in the courtroom and kicked butt". That should have been a red flag.
