J. Hunter Spindle is a Virginia trial attorney with Furlong Law Offices, PLLC in Stafford County VA. He practices criminal, traffic, and civil law throughout Northern Virginia including the Cities of Alexandria and Fredericksburg, and Arlington, Caroline, Fairfax, King George, Loudoun, Prince William, Spostylvania, and Stafford Counties. Hunter began practicing law in April 2018 when he joined First Point Law Group, P.C. after working for 2.5 years as a Magistrate in both Halifax and Fairfax Counties. While in law school, Hunter interned at the Fairfax Commonwealth Attorney's Office, the Attorney General's Office, as well as clerked for a General District Court judge. He is a born Virginian hailing from Spotsylvania and currently resides in Stafford. He attended Massaponax High School, where he graduated in 2008. Hunter received his bachelor degree from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) in May 2012 where he majored in Political Science, with a focus on law and theory, and double minored in Criminal Justice and Environmental Policy.
Hunter received his juris doctorate from Charlotte School of Law in May 2015, where he graduated in the top third of his class and with a certificate in Excellence in Criminal Trial Advocacy. In Spring 2015, Hunter was one of two recipients of the Dean's Leadership Award for being a Constitutional Law Teaching Assistant, a Student Prosecutor, and holding multiple leadership positions in various organizations at the same time.
Hunter is a young, energetic, and hard worker who is driven to offer his clients the best representation possible. When he isn't working, Hunter spends most of his time with his fiancée and puppy watching football, going to the movies, fishing, and enjoying a nice cigar.
