Upon moving to the northern neck from South Carolina eleven years ago we needed to change our wills to meet Virginia laws. A friend suggested that we talk with Mr. Butts. After meeting with him we decided that he was the attorney we wanted to use. Our family is blended so it was a bit complicated. Al...fie set up a joint trust account and made revisions to our wills. Then, just recently there were some changes that we wanted to make and Alfie handled that also. We also have a son that is disabled and Alfie explained that we needed to treat his share different from the other children. Alfie has been very helpful in getting us into a comfortable position and has stressed to us that we can call him anytime we have a question or problem.

Worth the Drive From Richmond!

My husband and I used Alfie to prepare Wills and Trusts for Estate planning. We are a blended family and had not idea how to organize our Estate Planning. Alfie made a potentially complicated and stressful situation very easy and stress free. He suggested documents that made sense for our specific si...tuation and worked with us to tweak them to our liking. Alfie was professional, knowledgable, and explained the legal documents in manner that was clear to understand. Very thorough

Our estate planning attorney of many years, Dexter Rumsey passed away several years ago and we remember when he hired Alfie. We wanted to update all of our wills, trusts and end of life documents and chose Alfie. He proved to be very patient and helpful in the entire process, but particularly in th...e area of identifying trustees, where to store legal documents, etc. The process is complicated, but he updated all appropriate documents to our requests and has left my wife and me very comfortable in knowing that our estate management will flow smoothly with all paperwork in order and accessible to our trustees. The cost of his work was very reasonable and I would recommend his work to anyone contemplating estate planning.
